Apart from his distinctive visual style Kirby hits legendary status because his whole approach was more of a storyteller than someone who just drew pictures. There is theatre, drama, mood and action in all his panels and characters. The co-creator to many of Marvel’s enduring superheroes no wonder they call him the King. Long live Jack Kirby.
